What is a manuscript critique?
Exactly what it sounds like: a critique of your manuscript. I’ll read your manuscript and write a review for your eyes only, telling you what, in my professional opinion, needs improvement, and what your story does well.
This is less detailed (and therefore less expensive) than developmental editing—perfect for if your story needs a little work, but you’re on a budget.
Prices are as follows:
- $3.50 per 1,000 words up to 50,000
- $4 per 1,000 words over 50,000
Please query if your manuscript is longer than 100,000 words.

- A brief review of the manuscript’s strengths and weaknesses, with advice on how to improve the latter
